Region of Waterloo: Aria Implementation
Monday, March 13, 2017
Fortran has successfully deployed it’s newest Advanced Transportation Management System ARIA to the Region of Waterloo. It controls over 300 intersections within the region. ARIA is Fortran’s next generation of hybrid central systems. The centerpiece component is a reliable comprehensive, integrated real-time centralized Traffic Signal Control System. Aria provides an integrated platform for ITS initiatives.
These include traffic signal control, information management, graphical data display/manipulation. The implementation in Waterloo was a true testament to Fortran’s standard for customer satisfaction. It was done within an astonishing 3 month time frame and in conjunction with the roll out of the entire ARIA platform itself. It has become a benchmark for service and dedication in the industry.
