Description
The Post Top Bracket is an alternate method for mounting signal heads. The post tops are mainly used in temporary intersections, parking lots, check out booths, etc., and where access to conventional side-of-pole mounting is unavailable and/or prohibited.
Made out of durable cast aluminum, the post top fitting fits on a 4 ½” diameter post. The fitting contains six stainless steel set screws which are used to fasten the post top fitting on the post. With a combination of extruded aluminum arms and elbows, you can mount from one to four signal heads.
When ordering a two, three, or four way mounting post top, Fortran supplies a 40″ aluminum pipe. This is sufficient to mount 3 x 12 signal heads. Fortran will pre-cut the vertical aluminum pipe if the signal head size is specified.
